DelDelDelete your account in the app
- Open DelDel and go to your Profile.
- Tap the menu and choose Privacy Settings.
- Under Danger Zone, tap Delete Account and confirm.
Your account is deleted immediately. You cannot undo this.
Delete or hide only your dating profile
Want to keep chatting but stop dating? Follow the same steps and tap Delete Dating Profile instead. This removes your dating photos, voice intro, likes and matches, and your chat account stays as it is.
To take a break, you can also hide your dating profile: in Privacy Settings, turn off Show me on Dating Stack.
No access to the app?
Send an email to deldel.app@gmail.com from the email address of your account, with the subject Delete my DelDel account. If you signed in with Google or Apple, use the email address of that account. We will confirm your request and delete your account within 30 days at the latest.
What is deleted
- your account and sign-in, name, username, profile photo, background and bio,
- your dating profile, photos, voice intro, answers, likes, matches and boosts,
- your location, your blocks and your coins,
- messages and files waiting on our servers for delivery (otherwise deleted after 60 days at the latest),
- your device's push token, so you no longer get notifications.
What we keep
- Purchase records: if you bought coins, we must keep the record of the payment for tax and accounting purposes (in Germany up to 10 years). We remove your email address, name and username from it.
- Safety records: reports and restrictions about rule violations, as long as needed to protect users and to meet legal duties.
- Messages on other phones: messages you sent are stored on the recipient's phone. Deleting your account cannot remove them there; use Delete for everyone in a chat before you delete your account.
